Introduction to Tracking Workshop at 9 AM at Lynda McKee' house; membership meeting about 11:30 with a cookout
RSVP by August 12 to Lynda at TifflynLDM@aol.com so she will know how many handouts to prepare for the workshop as well as a headcount for the cookout.  Bring a dish to share and let Lynda know what it is.

 Lynda's dad will cook hotdogs and hamburgers on his grill. Bring a chair and your favorite beverages. (Limit of 10 for the workshop for those who want to work; unlimited auditors. Preference to club members and corgis. Free to club members;
$10 for nonmembers who have a working spot.

General Meetings

The PWCCGA holds 6 General Membership meetings a year.  The general meeting schedule is usually the 4th Wednesday of even-numbered months, held at the Cross Creek Cafe in Atlanta. However some meetings are held at different locations including the Fun Day, and the Christmas Party in December.  Details for each meeting will be posted to this events page, and members will be notified via written meeting notice.  For additional information contact the club secretary, Mary Samuel at (678) 413-0603 or edencorgis@comcast.net. Visitors and interested parties are always welcome!

The Cross Creek Cafe is located at 1221 Cross Creek Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30327
Directions:  From I-75 northbound or southbound.
Exit Number 254, Moores Mill Road.  Turn right (west) onto Moores Mill and go to the first traffic light at West Wesley Road.  Turn left onto West Wesley. Take the next right, Bohler Road. Proceed on Bohler Road approximately 1/2 Mile to Cross Creek Parkway.  Turn left and then take the next left into the Cross Creek Café parking lot.


23nd Annual Specialty - Sunday, April 18, 2010
Our Regular Class Judge will be Diane Sprung (WILDIFOX) and our Sweepstakes Judge will be Barbara Hughes (HIGHGROVE).  We are pleased to add Veteran Sweeps classes in 2010!
The PWCCGA Specialty is held during the Peach Blossom Cluster in Perry, Georgia at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter.  To reach the show site, take I-75 to exit 135, go east and you will see the Ag Center on your right.
Our superintendent is Onofrio Dog Shows.  The premium list is available at Onofrio's website at http://www.onofrio.com.  Entries close Wednesday, March 31st.  Cluster information is available at http://www.peach-blossom.org/

The Hotel is located in historic downtown Perry, off I-75 Exit 136 (one exit north of the fairgrounds).

Getting Around Perry
Directions to the New Perry Hotel:
  From I-75, take Exit 136 and travel east along Hwy 341 (Sam Nunn Blvd).  As the road splits, bear right on to Ball Street into the historic downtown district.  The New Perry Hotel is located on your right at the corner of Ball and Main.

Directions from the New Perry Hotel to the GA National Fairgrounds & Agricenter:  From the hotel front entrance, turn right on Main and take the first left on to Ball St.  At the second stoplight, turn left onto Commerce St. and go approximately 1.5 miles (Commerce becomes General Courtney Hodges Blvd).  At the stoplight, turn left on Hwy 224/Larry Walker Pkwy.  The GA National Fairgrounds North Gate entrance will be on your right.

Alternate route:  From the hotel front entrance, turn left on Main St. Main will deadend at General Courtney Hodges Blvd.  Turn left (proceed with caution as cross traffic does not stop).  At the stoplight, turn left on Hwy 224/Larry Walker Pkwy.  The GA National Fairgrounds North Gate entrance will be on your right.

Directions to the New Perry Hotel from the Fairgrounds:  Travel west on Larry Walker Pkwy.  At the stoplight, turn right on General Courtney Hodges Blvd.  Go approximately 1 mile and bear right on Main St. The New Perry Hotel will be on your right.

Directions to the Fairgrounds for RV Campers:  From I-75, take Exit 135 and travel east on Hwy 224/Larry Walker Pkwy. Go through the first stoplight and go past the GA National Fairgrounds North Gate entrance. Turn right into the East Gate entrance and proceed to fairgrounds check-in.

Directions to the Swanson Restaurant from the New Perry Hotel:  From the hotel front entrance, turn right on Main St and take the first left on to Ball St.  At the first stoplight, turn right on Carroll St.  The Swanson is one block on the left. There is on-street parking or a parking lot around back.  The Swanson is an easy two-block stroll if you prefer to walk.

Directions to the Swanson Restaurant from the Fairgrounds:  Travel west on Larry Walker Pkwy.  At the stoplight, turn right on General Courtney Hodges Blvd.  Go approximately 1.5 miles (Courtney Hodges becomes Commerce St). Turn right on Ball St, and next left on Carroll St. The Swanson is one block on the left. There is on-street parking or a parking lot around back.
