The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a small dog in stature only. His heart, intelligence, and sense of humor cannot be measured. His even temperament and willingness to learn make him the ideal family dog. This foxy, alert little dog is as much at home helping the kids watch television as he is on a cross county jog. He excels as an obedience dog and knows no peer as a working dog. Bred as a herding dog in Wales, the Corgi soon become a well loved companion to any family he owns.

The Corgi temperament adjusts easily to new environments.

The mission of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rescue League, Inc. is simple.  When a corgi, for whatever reason, needs a new home, we take great care in matching the rescued Corgi with a new family that will commit to the time and attention every pet deserves.
